Day 1 - Familiar and beloved Oatmeal jumper
Day 2 - Unblogged skirt, made using my new favourite vintage one-seam skirt pattern and Ikea fabric leftover from covering a footstool for my friend - ha!
Day 3 - Simplicity 2599 blouse with ruffles 'n that
Day 4 - Me bouncing on 'Sacrilege', a huge bouncy castle in the shape of Stonehenge. It is an artwork by Jeremy Deller and ATTENTION LONDON DWELLERS, it will be travelling to London at Olympics time. from June onwards (see here) It's really fun. I want to see someone else getting photographed on this (Karen?)
(Oh yeah, and am wearing my favourite skirt again)
Day 5 - Crikey! It's that skirt again, worn with my cabled cardigan
Here's another couple of bouncy castle photos, for your enjoyment:

I'm so up for jumping on that big Stonehenge - I'm a massive Jeremy Deller fan, can't wait to see Sacrilege! I'm loving Me Made May so far, it's really making me think about what I wear instead of just throwing on the closest thing as usual.
ReplyDeleteI love his work, so interesting
DeleteI have done an absolutely awful job this week on MMM'12. I have worn me made clothing every day but not photographed myself. I have been working at projects that require loose fitting clothing and I just don't want to show up frumpy. Your photos are terrific and the Stonehenge bouncy castle is a hoot.
ReplyDeleteLove your outfits! They're too cute!
ReplyDeleteOMG. I WANT TO GO ON THE BOUNCY STONEHENGE!!! How long is it in Glasgow and where is it??? Fabby MMM photos! Love your new skirt!
ReplyDeleteIts on Glasgow Green but only til Monday
DeleteLoving your me-made outfits so far...and that bouncy castle looks insane!!!
ReplyDeleteClothes are gorgeous! And I wonder if that bouncy Stonehenge will be making its way to Melbourne any time soon - looks like fun! :)
ReplyDeletegreat outfits. the oatmeal jumper looks great - I've added it to my Ravelry queue!
ReplyDeletelove the action shots! Bouncy castles bring out the 5-year-old in me, so I will defintely seek this out when it arrives in London! (though will try really hard not to squeal with delight when I'm bouncing about)
The bouncy castle looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteAlso, love that new IKEA skirt.
I want a go on it! It looks huge fun! Your outfits are lovely & clearly are standing up to the rigour of what you are putting them through!!
ReplyDeleteOoh your clothing is fab but I'm kinda fascinated by the giant bouncy castle, so want a shot! :)
ReplyDeleteI just adore your skirt from day 2, it's really gorgeous! Don't feel bad about wearing the same skirt two days in a row, I am bound to do that at least once during the challenge as well.
ReplyDeletejumping on Stonehenge! that sounds like great fun! I love you ikea skirt, is that piping on the sides?
ReplyDeleteYes! It has piping on the pocket edges - I'll do a proper post about it so you can see more closely.
DeleteA BOUNCY CASTLE??? I'm so jealous!
ReplyDeleteO.M.G. That bouncy castle is AMAZING. I love your outfits, especially all the ways you are dressing up that fabulous skirt of yours! The Ikea fabric skirt is also delightful - I love the design on the front - so eye catching!
ReplyDeleteI really love your second version of that vintage skirt - the fabric pattern is lovely! I really should get on and make a version of this skirt myself!
ReplyDeletePlus... how green with envy am I over that bouncy castle?? Might have to see if it's heading to the Midlands at any point!
