    1. I know! At first I thought the model was wearing two wigs, one atop the other. Then I looked at her sweater and thought, "Take out the shoulder pads and that is a very wearable pattern, with that wide panel of lace down the front to keep you from knitting boredom."

    2. I agree, if it was presented in a 1950s style it would look so much better. I find that a lot with 80s patterns - it's hard to get over the hideousness of the styling to appreciate the pattern!
