Aw, that's frustrating! Having someone show you is definitely the best way. I went to a one-off evening class which was great to get me started. I haven't tried anything 3D ye, just flat stuff so I'm still just a beginner.
Crochet is such a funny craft - so easy, portable and quick but if I leave it alone for a few months I almost forget everything I've learnt and have to re-learn it all!
Quick and portable is always a bonus!
ReplyDeleteAgreed, much easier than carrying a whole cardigan around that's for sure
DeleteWoohoo! That's why I've been knitting the hexies, they're super easy to carry around in my bag! :)
ReplyDeleteOh definitely, I love the hexagon shape too, a bit different from the usual square
DeleteTeach me! I've tried so many times and failed miserably! x
ReplyDeleteMe too. I have no problem knitting or sewing. But crochet? Not happening. I have even stopped total strangers in the yarn aisle and asked for help.
