Thank you for all your lovely comments on my last post. I was really touched that so many of you sent us your good wishes, it is much appreciated.
Hello to all of you recent followers - I've been getting a steady increase through Bloglovin' which is lovely. And also hello to Ursula, a blog reader that I met at the local sorting office when picking up a letter. It's easy to forget that people in the real world that you don't know, read your blog. But they do!
Little spotty (and very creased) trews
And finally Wow! I have actually been squeezing in a little bit of sewing and knitting. In snatched moments I have been doing little bits and pieces and have sewn two more pairs of Made by Rae baby trousers (a real favourite) plus am nearly finished making A SKIRT FOR ME!
I hope to be able to share the skirt with you in the next couple of weeks - it just needs hemmed but then getting photos taken is another story! I've really missed wearing skirts as I currently only fit into one pre-pregnancy skirt, and I have been wearing mostly jeans. Although it's not a difficult pattern, it's been a bit of a slog as I kept making mistakes but it's all finally come together into something that's wearable. More on that soon, I hope.

Hello, love the little legs modelling the trousers. Also the new blog design is VERY cute!
ReplyDeleteGood to see a blog post from you. It's gratifying to sew for a little one. Those polka dot pants are too cute.
ReplyDeleteThose little pink feet thing are so cute! Are they to keep the tiny socks from falling off. I've never seen anything like that before. The little trousers are so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYes! They are called (appropriately) 'sock ons' and are brilliant to stop little socks falling off.
DeleteCute!! Amazing you've been able to organise sewing...well done. Glad everything's groovy in the Kestrel house
ReplyDeleteWow, I can't believe you have found time to sew! Brilliant colour on the skirt, can't wait to see it. Best wishes, Liz
