You may have noticed that I haven't been blogging as frequently. And no photos of me have appeared for a good few weeks.
And maybe you wondered who the happy green hippo was intended for?
If you need another clue, here's my most recent finished knitting project:
Come on, you must have worked out my announcement by now?!
That's right, I'm pregnant!
(obligatory bump photo with added clashing stripes)
I'm very pleased to be able to tell you that we are expecting, and I am currently 20 weeks pregnant.
Woo hoo! Needless to say, we are both very excited and I am planning lots of lovely things to make. So, I'm not planning to go all 'mummy blog' on you, but my upcoming makes will have a maternity/baby slant, no doubt.
For those who are interested, I have been feel very well so far and have been lucky enough not to feel sick during the first trimester. Apart from a voracious appetite and a bit of tiredness, I was very well. Now in my second trimester the most noticeable change (apart from the growing bump) has been the super-charged hormones, to which I am still adjusting, but I'm feeling great so far.
I do have a couple of projects which I have been waiting to share with you, so expect to see those very soon.

p.s. For those detectives amongst you - colour of booties is not an indication of gender, only of the colour of wool in my stash :)
